Welcome to Movable Type 3.2
12 hours to upgrade? Not quite as easy as Movable Type promised. The problem wasn’t with the installation instructions, it was with permissions for my webserver’s folder. Oh, and I had an extra “d” tucked into a word.
Who else is making Annie Modsett’s Corset? What yarns did you use? Although I swatched with Artfiber’s Kyoto (thank you whomever put those samples in the GSRP box - I love this yarn), finances dictate that I not spend $150 on a corset right now. So, I’m thinking about Knitpick’s Andean Silk. Have you used it? While I’m there, what other yarn would you tell me to thrown in my shopping cart?

oooh, knitpicks….I haven’t used the Andean Silk yet, but I want too. I really liked Shine (a cotton blend), the Merino Style is very soft, and the Wool of the Andes is a great 100% wool (felts very well). That’s all I’ve used though I’ve got some of the laceweight (Shimmer) and some of the sock yarn - I think Sock Garden maybe, that I can’t wait to try. Some folks have said that the colors on their monitors are off, but I haven’t been disappointed in any of my color selections.
And if you’re not after yarn (haha), check out their book selection. Most everything is cheaper than amazon, and they had some stuff I could only find there.

i think “knit & tonic” started this project, but i don’t think she finished it. you know, just do a google search to see what others used …. i think it’s beautiful, and would fit a lot of body types. kinda like the rowan “audrey”.
… i’m thinking that whoever i did see knitting this, they were using southwest trading company “bamboo”.
