Greg Roach, a fellow North County Blogger and husband to a new knitting friend, has an article in today’s Transcript about life behind the service door. Other than Greg’s amazing dip at a recent knit nite, I’ve yet to experience his cooking, but now I’m even more eager to see his craftsmanship.

A nice piece. I happen to be reading Alone in the Dark: The Best of Roger Ebert. I think Greg might agree with the following sentiment from Ebert’s introduction (I know it is true in my case):
…when young people ask for career advice, I tell them there is no such thing, only the autobiography of the person they are asking, whose career was likely fashioned as much by chance as design.
